Sunflower Bean tickets & concert schedule

Sunflower Bean were created in 2013 in Glen Head, New York when schoolmates Nick Kivlen (lead guitar) and Jacob Faber (drums) decided to form a new band and began working together. They found vocalist and bassist Julia Cumming and they went to Brooklyn later.

After taking part in live events, they draw attention during a music marathon and released their first EP under the name “Show Me Your Seven Secrets” in 2015. They continued the live performances and their debut album named “Human Ceremony” came out in February of 2016. The band’s sound had been influenced by many rock groups and artists of various rock genres and their sound was something between alternative and indie rock, with post-punk revival and psychedelic rock elements. Their second album “Twentytwo in Blue” came out in the Spring of 2018 and reached no. 16 on the US Independent Albums chart.

At the beginning of 2019, Sunflower Bean released their third EP named “King of the Dudes”, while they will take part in Beck and Cage the Elephant’s summer tour of this year. They have also toured next to bands such as Pixies, Foxygen, DIIV, Wolf Alice and others.
