Luke Bryan was born in 1976 in a city named Leesburg, in the state of Georgia. After he finished his studies in business administration, he went later to Nashville and began dealing with music, writing his first songs.
Bryan’s first collaborations were with Travis Tritt and Billy Currington, with whom they released the hit “Good Directions” which topped the country charts in the USA. His first album “I’ll Stay Me” came out in August of 2007 and reached the second place on the Billboard Country Albums chart, including the song “All My Friends Say”. He continued the collaborations and his second album “Doin' My Thing” came out in October of 2009, also reaching no. 2 on the country charts. Among its hits are the songs “Rain Is a Good Thing” (his first number one hit) and “Do I”.
After the release of one more EP, Bryan’s next album “Tailgates & Tanlines” came out in 2011. It peaked at no. 1 on the country charts (no. 2 on the Billboard 200), including three songs that topped the country charts too. It was followed by another successful EP and later by “Spring Break...Here to Party”, a compilation album that came out in 2013 and became no.1 in the US charts. The fourth album “Crash My Party” came out in the summer of that year and managed to reach the first position in both Top Country Albums and Billboard 200 charts. It became platinum like the previous one, containing the songs “That's My Kind of Night” and “Crash My Party”.
Bryan collaborated with Florida Georgia Line in “This Is How We Roll” in 2014 and over one year later, he released his next album named “Kill the Lights”. It entered at the top of the charts for a second time, with the songs “Kick the Dust Up” and “Strip It Down” to separate. Bryan took part in various live events, one of them was the CMA Awards’ celebration for completing 50 years and he joined the jury of the USA’s American Idol. His seventh album “What Makes You Country” came out in late 2017 and reached the top of the US charts for the third consecutive year.
